KROGZEME Ltd. began in 2009 as a nursery for ornamental plants. However,   since   2011   copmany   has   been   specializing   mostly   in blackcurrant commercial garden business - growing blackcurrant seedlings, establishing blackcurrant commercial gardens and, in cooperation with Latvian and foreign scientists, developing blackcurrant growing technologies, business plans for blackcurrant commercial gardens and consulting all interested parties.

Krogzeme is a fully organic farm, which manages 114 ha of agriculture areas in Latvia. Over the years, we have developed our own techniques for weed control, plant protection and fertilization of our fields. We are taking part in various research projects regarding plant  protection and fertilizing in organic blackcurrant farming. We are proud to be the only nursery in Latvia that offers certified black currant varieties. The variety certificate guarantees the variety's purity and technological parameters.

We are growing organic blackcurrant berries in our own 50 hectare plantations. Every year we have approximately 200- 300 tones of ORGANIC blackcurrant berries - frozen, packed and ready for supplying.

SIA KROGZEME has been operating organically since 2016 and we have so far added three 100% juice products to our supply: sea buckthorn, backcurrant and apple.
